Pause by the agency

An agency or Novi Kvadrat staff can pause a connection. Your writes are refused, waiting items wait, and published listings stay as they are.

Who pauses#

  • The agency, from its portal (Integrations → Connections → Pause), with an optional reason.
  • Novi Kvadrat staff, from the admin area.

You get the webhook connection.status_changed with status: "paused" and details: { by, reason }.

What a pause does#

  • Your writes are refused: every PUT, batch, remove and reconcile on the connection answers
json
409 { "error": { "code": "connection_not_active", "message": "The connection is paused.", "details": { "status": "paused" } }, "request_id": "…" }
  • Items accepted before the pause wait in staging; the worker takes only active connections. They import after the resume — nothing needs re-sending.
  • Published listings stay online as they are and stay read-only in the agency's portal. A pause is about the feed, not the stock.
  • Reads still work: GET /connections/{id} and the reconcile view answer, so you can see what is held.

Resume#

The agency resumes its own pause; staff resume any pause. You get connection.status_changed with status: "active" (or "certifying", when the connection was paused before certification). Changes you sent while paused were refused, so send them again with your next update.

There is no partner pause#

The API has no pause endpoint for you. To stop one listing, push it with state: "inactive" (States); to remove it, use remove; to stop everything, disconnect.
